It combines a basic metal finish with black plastic, and has a small footprint, making it a good choice for a smaller kitchen, or enabling you to save space in a larger kitchen. The machine has a simple and practical appearance. Because of its solid appearance, it’s probably not the machine you’ll choose if aesthetics is your first consideration. However, BUNN MCU coffee brewer offers a number of advantages for any kitchen, if a function is a key criterion for you.

However, while it is easy to clean, many people complain about having to clean the grounds from the coffee drawer, but we personally don’t feel like this is that big of a deal.

Compact Design

If you have a small counter or if you just don’t want a coffee maker that takes up a whole lot of room, this one right here would be a suitable choice. It has a small 10” x 7” counter-top footprint … there are not many coffee makers currently on the market that are this small in size. While small, it’s sturdy, and with Bunn’s name behind it, you can expect that this coffee maker will last you for years to come. 

Make a Stronger Cup of Coffee

If you want a stronger cup of coffee, that’s not going to be a problem. This system soaks the grounds with a nice wave of hot water, then there’s a small pause in order to let the grounds soak before the water flows out. The pause stage is referred to as “pre-infusion.” Pre-infusion is responsible for releasing acids that make that cup of coffee strong.

If you use the Pulse Brew feature, you’re not going to have your coffee made in under 60 seconds, but sometimes, things are worth waiting for. In this case, you will have to wait an extra minute, which isn’t all that big of a deal.

With the compact design and impressive functionality, we don’t see why you wouldn’t be interested in this brewer. There’s not much to dislike about the Bunn MCU Single Cup Multi-Use Home Coffee Brewer. If you’re committed to a coffee maker in your favorite color, or you’re looking for a distinct look, the simple appearance of the Bunn may not appeal to you. But, when looking at this compact machine, it’s hard to believe something of this size is capable of doing so much.
